Indoor Lantern Styling Guide

LED lanterns are the perfect finishing touch for those empty spots around the house, and in the garden, that need a little extra glow. In this guide, we’ve put together our top tips for lantern styling and shared with you our favourite uses for battery lanterns, including some of our own pics and Instagrammer pics too!

Lanterns are perfect to add subtle lighting updates to your indoor spaces, illuminating your room on a dark night or your garden on a warm summer evening. Our stylish LED lanterns come in a number of different designs, from traditional brass designs, large candle lanterns and shabby chic styles; to the popular hurricane lanterns and exotic Moroccan style light up lanterns too.

Wedding vibes

Say ‘I Do’ to gorgeous battery lanterns for your wedding day. Use metal lanterns to adorn the aisle, battery candle lanterns hung on shepherd’s crooks, or in the trees to guide the way to the after ceremony festivities. They’re not just the perfect décor for the big day, they also make thoughtful and stylish gifts for a housewarming present or a gift for the interior savvy person in your life.

Cosy living

On those bleak winter’s nights, when you just want to grab a blanket and cosy, up we recommend adding some lanterns for that perfect warming glow. Our wide range of lanterns come in multiple shapes and sizes, and with or without battery LED candles to suit all spaces and styles. Why not pair a large floor lantern with a smaller battery lantern to create a cosy corner, and add different height and interest to a room?

For an extra cosy vibe, we have a whole range of cosy living products that can be paired perfectly with LED candle lanterns for an extra warming glow, such as warm white wire lights or even twig lights.

Christmas

Christmas isn’t Christmas with the twinkling glow of fairy lights, and what better way to keep the glow than with indoor lanterns? LED lanterns can be styled around the Christmas tree, to add interest around the base and are also ideal to hide any unsightly trunks or faux tree legs. You could also choose a solar outdoor lantern to add near your front door to create the most perfect, festive, warm welcome.

A fab little Christmas DIY we like to do is grab some spare baubles and fill up a metal lantern, and then maybe pop some wire lights in there too for the extra glow!
