Festive Lights take on Yorkshire 3 peaks for British Heart Foundation

Festive Lights are at it again; you won’t find a challenge we can’t take in our stride… literally! If you’ve been following our company for a while, you’ll know we love a challenge and there are no elements our Lancashire lot won’t brave, especially with the promise of a hot pot at the end!

On Saturday 7th July 2018 we wrangled together 10 of our keenest walkers, strapped on our walking boots and tackled the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge, to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.

Over the course of the day we covered 24 miles, with 5,000 feet of climbing; faced with rocky terrain, steep climbs, uneven surfaces and blistering heat!

Now, although the views were spectacular, we weren’t just there for the scenery, we were raising money for The British Heart Foundation, the UK’s number one heart charity and our nominated charity of the year for 2018. Through 50 years of cutting-edge research, they are already making a huge difference to people’s lives in the UK right now, and we’d love to help them out. For the entire weekend, on both Saturday the 7th and Sunday the 8th of July, we donated 10% of all sales from the website to BHF.
