Create a Rustic-inspired Farmhouse Snowman

Farmhouse styling is timeless. It’s effortless, simple and yet so effective. This rustic aesthetic has been in trend for years, and there’s no hint that it’s due to bow out any time soon. So, why should your home go without during the festive season?

Battery-powered wire lights are perfect for creating a soft, subtle glow in a warm welcoming home. Which is exactly why we’ve paired them with the grapevine wreaths to create something truly special. We’ve taken the natural beauty that farmhouse exudes so well and given it a merry twist to create this jolly farmhouse snowman.

Things you’ll need:

Step-by-Step:

  1. Before you begin, check that your lights are in working order.
  2. Position the wreaths flat in front of you from smallest to largest. Secure the small wreath to the medium with the cable ties, and the medium to the large to create the shape of a traditional snowman.
  3. Using the hot glue gun, secure the battery pack where the small and medium wreaths meet.
  4. Begin to wrap the wire lights around the wreaths, working your way down until all three wreaths have been fully surrounded with light. Secure the end of wire lights into place with hot glue.
  5. For the scarf, take your tartan cloth and wrap this around the ‘neck’ of the snowman, being sure to fully cover the battery box. Lap the ends of the scarf over one another and secure into place with hot glue.
  6. To finish off the look, decorate the scarf with some Christmas inspired foliage for that extra festive flare.
  7. Once you’re happy with his overall look, hang your farmhouse-inspired snowman onto your door or wall.
