How do I install string lights on an outdoor tree for Christmas?

A question we get asked a lot here at Festive Lights is, “How do I install lights on an outdoor tree for Christmas?” So, in this handy instruction video, we show you exactly what you’ll need and how to achieve this popular look, step by step.

For a hard wood tree (such as in the video above) a ConnectGo® Ring Connector has been placed in the middle of the tree to allow the lights to run out in different directions in order to individually wrap each branch. Our handy Ring Connector has been specifically designed and manufactured with 9 connectable ports to allow your lights to branch off and create an awe-inspiring display.

Another option is to use a ring connector at the top of a fir tree, and run lights down in almost a curtain style from the ring at the top. Either way, the ring connector will certainly reduce time and effort whilst installing your lights, and allow you greater flexibility when it comes to running lights in various directions.
