How to hang Christmas lights without nails

The festivities are well and truly creeping up on us and it won’t be long now until the early evenings are lit up with an abundance of twinkling lights – just the way that we like it.

As the self-proclaimed gleam team, there’s nothing we love more than walking down the street on a chilly winter’s night and letting the toasty glow of Christmas lights warm us from the inside out. So, whether you opt for a dazzlingly bright white, a magical burst of multi-colour or cosy warm white, no-one should be left without a little light in their life at Christmas.

In a bid to share the joy with you all, we’ve put together this easy-to-follow tutorial allowing you to be a leading light amongst your neighbours.

What you’ll need:

ConnectGo® String Lights

ConnectGo® AA battery box

Adhesive tie wrap bases

Step-by-step:

  1. Start by ensuring that your chosen surface is clean and dry before peeling the back from the adhesive base and pressing it firmly into place.
  2. Repeat this process until you have surrounded the area that you’re wanting to set aglow with light, such as a window frame. Top tip – place the hooks approximately 50cm apart from one another to make sure your lights stay taut.
  3. Secure your lights into place by simply pushing the wire securely into each hook and continue this process around the rest of the frame.

And it’s as easy as that! Simply flick the switch and bask in the glow of your handy work.
